The Communications and Events Department aims to;

  • Provide and effective communication service both to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create a positive image of the District Municipality in keeping with our corporate values
  • Render a professional events management service to client departments and other relevant stakeholders
  • Provision of an effective community liaison service
  • Optimizing community involvement and participation in, and support for the programmes of the District Municipality.
